Creative Director

​Hart Associates – December 2017 - October 2023

 

Direct and develop branding, creative guidelines, graphic design and strategic vision for clients such as DC Lottery, Roy Rogers, Prince George’s Tourism, National Geographic, Dulles Airport and Fannie Mae. This includes print collateral, digital, websites, email campaigns, social, television, and radio advertising.

 

  • Oversaw all creative campaign development for the DC Lottery – $7M business.

  • Helped launch and market DCiLottery.com. DC Lottery’s first ever online game portal.

  • Refreshed game logo designs and produced themed scratcher cards.

  • Oversaw all creative for Roy Rogers. Increased overall sales by
    17% / total average check up $12.60.

  • Rebrand and support Roy Rogers through digital, social, POS, packaging and product photography.

  • Support the agency from a creative standpoint on all new business pitches and RFP’s.

  • Supervised a team of art directors, graphic designers, copywriters, illustrators, editors, and producers. 

 

 

 
Creative Director

​Warner Bros. Discovery – May 2008 - August 2017

 

Oversaw product development and branding for 20+ media brands and show properties across home entertainment, e-commerce, retail and interactive platforms and the location based entertainment business. Established brand design visual language for all products, merchandise and packaging, and designed and executed social, consumer and trade advertising marketing campaigns.

 

 

Ensured that design solutions were strategic, targeted, visually compelling and reflect the distinct personality and spirit of each brand.

  • Developed creative for $600k month Times Square retail store Cake Boss Café. Created brand identity, in-store signage, packaging, product development, website, print and social marketing.

  • Managed all creative development of Shark Week products sold online and in retail. Created brand guides for licensees and oversaw approval process.

  • Brought the show MythBusters to life by creating MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition. A touring museum event that lets you put famous myths and experiments to the test. Oversaw creative identity, marketing, visual experience and product development.

  • Oversaw art direction and design of books and calendars which include: Discovery Opedia Series, Shark Week, Gold Rush, Cake Boss, MythBusters, Investigation Discovery, Discovery Kids, Animal Planet and more.

  • Project managed 20+ games and apps which include: Man vs Wild, Deadliest Catch, Cash Cab, Tanked, River Monsters, MythBusters, Animal Planet Wildlands, Shark Week Mattel Viewmaster and more.

  • Assisted the team in the development of the Discovery Kids website

  • Oversaw creative, product development, website design, UX and online marketing for online e-commerce store DiscoveryStore.com – $9M business

 

Assisted location based entertainment team from a conceptual, strategic, creative and sales perspective to help create consumer experiences that entertain, engage and enlighten – $4.2M business

  • Creative and product development on first $10M+ park site Discovery Adventures Park in Moganshan, China that opened in ‘16 with approximately 60k in annual attendance and $1.5M annual revenue.

  • Head creative on LBE development board for future $20M multi-site Costa Rica park. Developed resort branding, hotel and restaurant guides and assited with the master plan concept. Also insisted on organic integration of local materials, flora, fauna and culture to create a world of Discovery where Costa Rica and curiosity were the main attractions.

  • Developed the brand Discovery at Sea in partnership with Princess Cruises. Created the concept for the Youth Centers and Teen Lounges on board the ships. Deal valued at $4M over 2 years.

This includes, but not limited to: Creating campaigns for print, broadcast, outdoor/transit media, direct marketing, website development and photo shoots. Managed daily workflow of creative and several designers and freelancers.
